Parent Comment:

‘Choosing Ormiston Meadows Academy for our physically disabled child has been a heartwarming experience. The school community has welcomed Charlotte with open arms, showing empathy, kindness, and compassion. The teachers and support staff have gone above and beyond to tailor the learning environment to Charlottes unique needs. She not only receives a quality education but also the support she needs to succeed. Ormiston Meadows Academy has truly created a nurturing environment where our child feels cherished, and we are profoundly grateful for this inclusive journey.’

At our most recent SEN Cafe we learnt about sensory circuits and even had a go! Sensory circuits are a sequence of physical activities designed to alert, organise and calm children and are suitable for individuals who may struggle with sensory processing, focus or engagement. We run them daily here at OMA but they can be done at home too. Please do look through the short presentation and booklet for further information.
