Enrichment
At Ormiston Meadows Academy, we believe that a great education goes beyond the classroom. We are extremely proud of our enrichment offer, which gives every child opportunities to discover new interests, develop new skills, build confidence and enjoy experiences that broaden their horizons.
Alongside our curriculum, we provide children with a wide range of experiences through educational visits, visitors, trips, after-school clubs and our dedicated Enrichment Programme.
Our enrichment offer is built around four key aims. We want every child to:

Friday Enrichment
Every Friday, children across Ormiston Meadows Academy take part in a dedicated enrichment session. Children are given opportunities to choose from a range of activities, allowing them to explore something new or develop an existing interest.
Our enrichment activities are deliberately varied and make use of the interests, skills and expertise of our staff. Opportunities may include activities such as sport, arts and crafts, chess, Green Earth activities and stop-motion animation, alongside new experiences introduced throughout the year.
Activities run across each half term, giving children time to develop their skills, persevere when something is challenging and see their confidence grow.
