Eco Schools Award

Time to celebrate! 🥳 We have achieved our Eco Schools Green Flag again! 🎉 We are also very proud to say that we have been given a merit in recognition of how much hard work we do to make our world a greener place. This is the third year we have achieved this award, and the second time we have been given a merit ☺️💚

Sending a huge, big THANK YOU to every single person who contributed to this achievement. Whether you cut your carbon, switched off devices to save energy, reduced your water usage or one of the many other eco activities we asked to to get involved with, THANK YOU! We could not have achieved this award without all of your hard work to make our school and local community more environmentally friendly 💚🙏 

Of course, an extra big THANK YOU goes to our fabulous Eco Council members, they have been excellent leaders in our mission to create a greener world and have all worked incredibly hard 👏💚

We are hoping to continue our green mission this year and will be encouraging more pupils to step up and take on the responsibility of being an OMA Eco Councillor. Please speak to your children about whether this might be something they  would be interested in doing. Further details will be given to pupils over the coming weeks.

If any family members would be interested in supporting us with our Eco work, please get in touch with Mrs McEwan – we would love volunteers to support the various projects we want to run this year.
